Over the past 100 years, the Deaf Society has been the leading provider of specialist services for deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing people and their families in New South Wales as well as deaf people with additional needs.

Our purpose is ‘Deaf life: Your way, your language’. It means we work with deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing people. We work to break down barriers, create choice and support you to reach your goals.

Our services are delivered across the state of New South Wales from our offices in the following locations:
- Parramatta in metropolitan Sydney
- Gosford on the Central Coast
- Newcastle
- Boambee in the Coffs Harbour district
- Lismore
- Warrawong on the South Coast
In addition we provide regular services at these other places in NSW:
- Nowra
- Orange
- Port Macquarie
- Tweed Heads
We are also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Disability Employment Service (DES) provider so we provide a range of accredited training courses.
